If You Could Only Have One Book On Yoga

If one could only have one book on yoga, the new book, Classical Hatha Yoga by Swami Rajarshi Muni would likely be it. This is the only book on yoga the practitioner or teacher would ever need. It is probably the most comprehensive book ever written on the subject of yoga and it is written by a most highly advanced Yogi and is based upon his own intensely deep personal practice . Check it out on Amazon's Inside the Book Program, where you can actually see its contents as well as its summary. It can also be purchased at the Kripalu Book Store.

jeez. posted to at least 6 tribes; absolutely no personal info in the profile... so sad when that happens. you'd think that people would realize that it's not a terribly productive approach....

but in other news - do any actual human beings have a book that they've found particularly useful? i've got that really big hardback one with the white cover and red lettering - it's got great 360-degree photos of many of the asanas, as well as sections on asanas to address particular health issues. can't recall the name right now.

i've got "light on yoga", and have started it a couple of times but not gotten very far yet... and i spent a little time with the actual yoga sutras, but i think that without a guide that's really slow going...
